FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Philip Schmitz, CIC attends Ruble Seminar23rd year maintaining professional designationJuly 13th, 2005 -- Philip Schmitz, CIC owner of Schmitz Insurance, LLC in Forestville is attending the James K Ruble Seminar in Virginia Beach Virginia this week. The seminar is only available to agents who have completed and passed all five exams to become a Certified Insurance Counselor which Schmitz achieved in 1982. To keep current, CIC's must attend twenty hours of training annually. The subject for the seminar is insuring small commercial businesses which is very appropriate for the Door and Kewaunee area served by Schmitz. Topics will include avoiding property and liability insurance coverage gaps, insuring business in the home, e-commerce risk, and sales and management techniques. Schmitz, a 27 year veteran of the industry, has been a CIC since 1982. Schmitz believes insurance consumers are best served by those who acquire and maintain a high level of professional excellence by meeting the continuing education requirements of the Certified Insurance Counselors Program.
