Antique and Collectors Autos
If you have antique collector cars, you will be surprised to know that you can have them covered year-round for a very minimal premium if your annual mileage is limited. There is extra coverage for spare parts, lower deductibles, free display signs for auto shows, and agreed amount coverage. Agreed Amount coverage is very important because most standard auto policies only cover the “Actual Cash Value” which means they may pay you less than the antique value of your car. Agreed Amount means they will pay you the full amount you insure it for less any deductible. In general, your vehicle needs to be at least ten years old and increasing in value to qualify. The car should only be used for personal use and shows, not to drive to work. The vehicle must be stored in a locked garage when not in use.

Avoid Tax Penalties: For the tax year 2018, the penalty will rise to 2.5% of your total household adjusted gross income, or $695 per adult and $347.50 per child, to a maximum of $2,085. For the tax year, 2017 and beyond the percentage option will remain the same but the flat fee will adjust for inflation on September 7th. UPDATE – starting in the year 2019 the penalty was repealed.

Short Term Medical
Low-cost, simplified issue plan for when you may not be eligible for the Affordable Care Act. Maybe you missed the open enrollment period or just couldn’t afford the premium. Short-term plans do not cover pre-existing conditions. Wisconsin regulation limits you to 18 months with one STM carrier, then a 63-day gap. Could insure elsewhere for the 63 days.

Individual Dental Plans
One of the few that have network dentists in Door County. Wisconsin-based carrier. From the low-cost “Basic” plan to cover just checkups and fillings, the “Clear Plan” with no waiting period all the way up to the “High” plan that even covers orthodontics for children, you are sure to find a plan to fit your needs and budget.
ANY DENTIST paid on UCR and includes Dental – Vision – Hearing with benefits up to $3,000 and 80% on MAJOR after two years (60% 1st Year, 70% 2nd Year. No waiting for preventative and basic dental services. Six months wait for glasses and contact, twelve months wait on Major dental and hearing aids. This is the most comprehensive plan we’ve ever seen.
Allstate offers better benefits but only at network dentists (Green Bay). Value is the least expensive, most would go with Plus so you have major (crowns, etc) covered. Prime adds Ortho and up to $3,000 maximum. CoPay plans have NO waiting period on basic and CoPay2 no waiting on major and no maximum. Optional add-on for Vision.
